Description

This classic Triumph belongs in any garden where springs can be rough on other Tulips.  Blooms early in Tulip season and demonstrates exceptional wind resistance, keeping the bulb garden neat and tidy even when March comes in like a lion and continues its roar right through April!About 16 to 18 inches high, this plant has a very thick, strong stem topped by lovely bright red blooms, exactly the color and shape of children's drawings of Tulips. Very dependable, the flowers open early and remain generously over several weeks.

They stand out from down the street, and complement surrounding Daffodils, Anemones, Muscari, and other spring-blooming bulbs.'Hollandia' is a Triumph Tulip, a cross between Darwins and early-flowering, short-stemmed types. The Triumph is among the most popular types, both for its classic flower shape and for its prompt, very reliable bloom.
