Description

"Masses of Blooms in Mid to Late Summer.  A leguminous type, it cloaks itself in 3-inch bloom clusters of purple with cream and red accents over many weeks in mid to late summer, and keeps its neat, tidy habit from spring through fall.

This native of Korea and China reaches 4 to 5 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide, with an upright, very well-branched habit. It is deciduous, appearing to live for its intense, massive, over-the-top flower display in late season. You will be wowed by the sheer number of these blooms, let alone their tricolored beauty! You will find it easy to care for, beautiful, and fascinating. Zones 5-9."
