 Perfect for cutflowers, they're also irresistible in the garden, where their sweet scent perfumes the spring air.

Description

 This California introduction has proven to be a superb performer in southern and southwestern gardens, very disease-resistant and tolerant of both heat and humidity. More vigorous and rapid-growing than most Lilacs, it is also highly resistant to mildew.  No chill period is needed to set buds. Blooms are very fat with florets, and held in wands 6 to 9 inches long.

Reaching 8 to 10 feet high and 6 feet wide. It fares best in sun (in all but the hottest climates) and moist, well-drained soil. Zones 4-9."
