Zone: 9-10-11

Height:  15' to 20'    3' to 6' wide

Description

Giant 5-inch blooms are ultra-fragrant. Hardy only in zones 9-11,  Evergreen or semi-evergreen in warm climates.

Wait until after those late, freak frosts of spring before setting out the container. It blooms from late summer into autumn, they have a watercolor intensity of hue that is really stunning, coupled with their blue and black markings and heavenly scent.

In areas with long growing seasons, Lavender Lady will reach 15 to 20 feet long and 3 to 6 feet wide within a single season, blanketing arbors, pergolas, open-habit shrubs and trees, and any other vertical support. Farther north, it may stay a bit shorter, but will flower just as brilliantly. This is a sun-loving twining vine, with lush foliage and vigorous growth. It makes a delightful houseplant in a sunny window, and can be brought indoors for winter in any climate.
